The MIM technology can be used especially for high volumes of components in a complex shape – also because the process can be totally atomised.

Die casting can be applied also for complex geometries – but due to its necessary manual operations the quantities should remain relatively low. Other powder metallurgical technologies like press and sinter can be utilised for high quantities – but the shapes cannot be so complex.
